Building materials & structures
Public sector contract notices in building materials & structures, from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.
The supply of construction products and structures rather than the work of installing them: CPV division 44, together with the installation of structures. Roofing, cladding, insulation, doors and windows, pipework, fixings, aggregates, and prefabricated and modular buildings all sit here.
Buyers in this category are usually buying to a specification and to a schedule of rates, so price, lead time and the ability to supply consistently over the term decide it. Much of it is bought through frameworks and dynamic markets that stay open to new applicants, which is a more realistic route for a supplier than waiting for a single large notice. Where a notice combines supply with installation it is likely to appear under construction as well, so it is worth watching both.
