Contracts
Electrical & lighting equipment
Public sector contract notices in electrical & lighting equipment, from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.
Electrical equipment and lighting, and the work of installing it: CPV division 31 with the electrical installation codes. Cabling and distribution, switchgear, batteries and storage, street and amenity lighting, interior and emergency lighting, and electric vehicle charging.
Street lighting and EV charging are usually programmes rather than one-off jobs, let for a term with a rollout schedule, while interior and emergency lighting more often arrives as part of a building contract. Competence schemes are the usual gate for the installing work, and a notice will normally name the one it expects. Where supply and installation are advertised together, check whether the buyer will accept a bid for one part: they frequently will, and the lots are where that is stated.
