Hightown Dunes Coastal Defence Reprofiling Scheme

Sefton Council wants a contractor to reprofil the dunes and foreshore at Hightown by moving sediment from the Alt Channel back into the dune system to reduce coastal erosion and flood risk. The work includes targeted sand and silt placement and site restoration.
