Gremista Landfill, Lerwick, Shetland - Phase 3 Construction
Shetland Islands Council is contracting Phase 3 extension works at Gremista Landfill near Lerwick. The work includes earthworks, drainage installation, a bentonite-enriched soil layer, HDPE geomembrane basal liner, leachate collection pipework, and aggregate drainage layer; plus capping of the existing Phase 2 area with LLDPE geomembrane and restoration soils.
