Provision of Lead for Fixed Ballast, RRS Sir David Attenborough
UKRI needs 477 tonnes of lead ballast in man-handleable blocks for the RRS Sir David Attenborough research ship, to be installed in the aft peak ballast tank. The lead must include protection to dampen noise and vibration that would interfere with acoustic equipment.
