SA242 Penallta Road Bridge Strengthening

Caerphilly Council needs a principal contractor to strengthen Penallta Road Bridge in Hengoed by building a reinforced concrete box structure around the existing bridge and infilling voids with foam concrete. The existing superstructure stays in place but the load-bearing behaviour will change significantly.
