EKFB NC2A - Transport and installation of precast tunnel segments
Transport and install five precast concrete tunnel segments for the Wendover Green Tunnel on the HS2 project using specialist Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs), as traditional crane placement is blocked by two intersecting bridges. Segments weigh up to 43.6 tonnes and require lifting to approximately 12 metres high.
