715654454 - UK4 Notice

The Institute of Naval Medicine needs two ion chromatography systems to replace aging equipment and add new analytical capability. One system must analyse nine common anions in water; the other must detect bromate in chloride-rich samples using post-column derivatisation.

You'll want to look if you supply or integrate ion chromatography equipment, particularly systems capable of anion detection in water matrices and specialised post-column derivatisation setups.

  • Must meet trueness, precision and limit of detection requirements of The Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2018
  • One system: conductivity detection for 9 specified anions
  • One system: UV-vis detection with post-column potassium iodide derivatisation for bromate analysis
