C2C Railway is procuring detailed design and construction for renewal of two platforms and passenger lifts at Basildon station on the Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness line. The platforms, built in the 1970s, have serious structural defects and will be demolished and rebuilt as a JCT Design & Build contract.
